Q: Are your puppies registered?
A: Yes! Every puppy we raise is purebred and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered. We strictly breed to preserve the health, sweet temperament, and beautiful soundness of the Yorkshire Terrier standard.Q: What health testing do you perform on the parents?
A: The health and longevity of our dogs are our highest priorities. All of our breeding parents undergo comprehensive Embark genetic health testing to screen for hereditary conditions, ensuring we are making carefully matched, responsible pairings.Q: What is ENS socialization, and why do you use it?
A: Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is a series of gentle exercises performed with our puppies from day 3 to day 16 of life. It stimulates their neurological systems, which has been shown to improve cardiovascular health, strengthen their immune systems, and help them grow into confident, resilient, and adaptable companions. -
Q: What comes in a puppy pack?
A: We want to make sure the transition from our arms to yours is as smooth as possible! Each puppy goes home with a custom puppy pack filled with love, which includes a scent blanket (to comfort them with the familiar smell of mom and littermates), a starter supply of their current high-quality food, medical records, their microchip registration info, and a toy.Q: Will my puppy be vet-checked and vaccinated?
A: Absolutely. Before leaving our home, every single puppy receives a thorough head-to-tail veterinary health examination and comes up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and routine dewormings. You will receive official vet records signed by our practitioner.Q: Are the puppies microchipped?
A: Yes, safety is incredibly important to us. Every puppy is microchipped prior to leaving our home, providing permanent identification and peace of mind for the lifetime of your dog. -
Q: How do we apply for one of your puppies?
A: Because our Yorkies are raised right in the heart of our home as part of our family, we are very thoughtful about where they go. To get started, please fill out our puppy application form. This helps us learn more about your lifestyle, home environment, and what you are looking for in a companion. -
We are located in Alberta Canada, Lethbridge county. You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly.

Q: How big will my puppy be when fully grown?
A: Because we breed to the official CKC standard, our adult Yorkies typically weigh between 4 to 8 pounds. While we can provide an educated estimate based on the parents' weights and pedigree histories, puppy growth can vary, and we prioritize overall health, structure, and sound temperament above a specific target size.Q: Are Yorkshire Terriers hypoallergenic?
A: Yorkies do not have a traditional fur coat; instead, they have fine, human-like hair that continuously grows and does not shed. Because of this, they produce significantly less dander and are often an excellent, low-allergen choice for families with pet allergies.Q: What are the grooming requirements for a Yorkie?
A: Their beautiful hair-like coat requires regular upkeep to stay healthy.
If you choose the full, flowing show coat, it will need daily brushing to prevent tangles and mats. Most families prefer a low-maintenance "puppy cut," which needs a professional groom every 4 to 6 weeks, plus regular baths and brushing at home.
Nails: Trim every 2 to 3 weeks. Yorkies don’t naturally wear them down, and long nails are uncomfortable and affect how they walk. If you hear clicking on the floor, it’s time for a trim.
Teeth: Dental care is very important for Yorkies. Brush their teeth several times a week with a dog-safe toothpaste to prevent tartar buildup, and plan for a professional dental cleaning with your vet as needed. We start getting them used to mouth handling early.
Ears & Eyes: Regular ear checks and gentle cleaning, plus daily wiping around the eyes to prevent tear staining.
It’s a small routine that quickly becomes bonding time — and we include a pampering groom before they go home, plus lifetime grooming advice anytime you need it.

Q: Do your puppies come with breeding rights?
A: Our puppies are placed into loving homes strictly for pet adoption on non-breeding agreements. We pour our hearts into raising companions to be cherished family members. Breeding rights are only considered under very rare, select circumstances for established, ethical breeders whom we know personally and who share our exact dedication to preserving the health and legacy of the breed.Q: Do you ship your puppies?
A: We strongly prefer to meet our puppy families in person. We invite approved families to pick up their puppy directly from our home. If you live further away, we are happy to meet you at our nearest airport so your puppy can travel safely in the cabin at your feet.Q: Do your puppies come with a health guarantee?
A: Yes, absolutely. Because our parents are fully Embark genetically health tested and carefully matched, we confidently provide a written I year health guarantee against life-threatening hereditary defects. A complete, detailed copy of our health contract is provided and reviewed thoroughly prior to final adoption placement.
